7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
West Chicago Public Library District
Main Program Room

Event Details

John F. Lyons examines the impact of the Beatles on the Chicago metropolitan area. Through the use of music, video and many unseen photographs from the 1960s, this highly entertaining presentation reveals untold stories of the Beatles’ visits to Chicago, highlights the unique connections between the Fab 4 and the Windy City and discusses the diverse cast of characters who were engulfed by the whirlwind of Beatlemania. Registration is required!

A tea and scones reception will be held an hour before the program (6-7 pm) to get you into the British spirit and to give you a chance to enjoy the Beatles Photo Exhibit around the library. No registration needed. Tea and scones available on a first come, first served basis.

This program is part of our 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Beatles, which includes the 4EVER4 Photo Exhibit that will run at the library August 1-8 (registration is not required for this exhibit, but it is for the 60 Years of Beatles program). Please feel free to come early before the program or any day after (through August 8) to enjoy the exhibit. Click here to learn more about 4EVER4.
